If you do, how do you like it and how accessible is it?
You may already know this, but it was reviewed in Accessworld a while back
What's the Roomba?
I'm wondering the same thing! *smile*
The Roomba is a robotic vacum cleaner.
Dude, nice! I want one!
Why was that post duplicated? Got computer problems?
I just tested it over the weekend, not very impressed, it works for the most part but it takes forever to vacume, it misses some spots and in the two tries I did one time it just turned itself off and sat in the middle of the floor instead of heading to home base. You'd be about 80% faster doing this yourself and for the price (up to $220) it's not worth it in my opinion.

jd, you crack me up! where do you hear about all those things, robotic things and such?
I agree, I'd rather do it myself. I've been aproached about this vacume from other people and I'd rather do it myself.

Adding to I'd rather do it myself, in my oppinion it would also make someone look helpless and make it look like the blind person doesn't know how to vacume so he needs a little robotic machine to do it for him.

I have never used one, but if it works I'd love it. I could then get rid of my biweekly house cleaner. Unlike you I don't have a problem with how the vacuum may or may not make me look, I know who I am and what I can do. Reader
I love it, but I am just one of those techno geeks. saddly the power kord seems to have broke this morning. but I've had it for over 2 years
I've never used one either, but it'd be cool to have. It would save time since while it vacuums, I can be doing something else. Plus, I still get nervous around apliences that continuously make a lot of noise; I just don't like using them if I don't have to. Yes, this means I rarely use mixers and blenders either. *smiles*
